Lab-grown leather, garments that develop, and tech take on crafting a simply circular economic system are among these 12 months’ Global Change Award winners. To similarly support the victors, the H&M Foundation, the non-earnings arm mounted by the Swedish multinational, has introduced a brand new initiative with the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, which offers customers an active role, permitting and encouraging them to return the pioneers.
Announced at Stockholm’s City Hall – the venue where the Nobel Prize is provided, a sign of the award’s scale and aspiration have an impact – this 12-month crop of winners is nothing short of sport-changing. Selected from a report-breaking 6,640 entries (up from 2,600 last year) and 182 nations, every access objective is to accelerate the shift toward a new sustainable destiny as a substitute for specific and unusual methods.
