A 4-year-vintage lady’s “Little Mermaid” hairstyle has been making pretty a splash on social media.
April Castillo desired to go out of doors the box for her daughter Atlantis’ “Crazy Hair” day at her Houston Pre-K, so she decided to turn to Pinterest for some inspiration.
“I’ve continually loved mermaids. My oldest is called Ariel,” Castillo said. “’ The Little Mermaid’ is my favorite Disney movie, so I desired to do something like that for Atlantis’ hair.”

Castillo went on Pinterest and found mermaid hairstyles with paper dolls. She doesn’t very own a printer, so she determined to get creative.
Atlantis had an Ariel Barbie doll already, so Castillo determined to make that the centerpiece of her coiffure. There changed into handiest one problem.
“We couldn’t find Ariel’s bikini top anywhere. We regarded all night,” Castillo stated. “I couldn’t ship her with a topless doll in her hair, so my husband cut a tiny bikini pinnacle out of tape and colored it crimson.”

Castillo received a call from Romero that afternoon announcing, “I suppose Anastasia goes viral. I published the photograph of her hair on Twitter this morning. It’s been shared 10,000 times.”
“She instructed me her Twitter become crashing,” Castillo said. “I am still in disbelief.”
Romero said her sister changed into devastated whilst she had to take her mermaid hairdo down, and even insisted that her mom permit her to wear it to her gymnastics exercise that night.
Thankfully, Castillo has been able to recreate the magic for Atlantis.
“I’ve done the hair fashion two times due to the fact that loopy hair day at school because Atlantis loved it a lot,” Castillo stated.
